Dare To Fly
I’ve always wanted to be a cabin crew. But my
body size obviously really didn’t let me be free (laughing with tears). So, the
other way for me to stay on sky and the exact word is ‘fefeeling’ was by keep
on using public transport (to be exact flight) for travelling from my uni to my
hometown (padahal belajar dekat UUM je). Don’t ask me how many flights I have
been on, it is endless count.
A lot of people ask me why I really love and have
the audacity to be a cabin crew. Isn’t it a normal job? Isn’t it a job that
never has been in your mind before this? Why all of the sudden? And all the
f-ing sceptical and questions that I couldn’t even answer one by one. It’s time
for TBH moment: tbh, I started to love aviation specifically in form 3 when I
travelled to Sabah. Woah it’s a spectacular flight because I have not been
flying I mean not being on a flight for merely 11 years. You know the drill how
‘jakun’ I am to have myself on a flight full of fears and wow.
Okay moving on to the next TBH moment: I literally
don’t know why I caught up in this interest which is becoming the aviation geek
omaigaddd I literally love everything about aviation from the ground crew and
ground service in the airport until the various cabin crew from various
airlines until the flight type and model itself so I will say it is another TBH
moment. I can be the nerd for this thing and cannot keep my mouth shut when Im
in the airport (even tho im alone fr)
I guess it is one of my deepest darkest secret
(tbh, interest/fetish). But I rarely talk to people about this because I know
no one want to hear me mumbling about this uninteresting topic right. Even my
parents will be dead listening me nerding around about aviation when we were at
the airport or when this topic comes out of the sudden (not me thinking I am
the adopted child in the house). TBH: this interest does come on and off but it
have always in a ON mode since I enter Uni. Its has become one of my goals to
be on a full service airlines such as Malaysia Airlines but inshallah one day.
It has always been Airasia because it’s a low-cost airlines and still my dreams
still can be manifested in it (don’t le me start talking about this two
differences or my inner nerd will come out and hard to make it stop).
In this opportunity (direct translate to: Di
atas kesempatan ini, ‘laughing’), I would like to say thanks to Allah SWT and
also my parents and family for making my dreams come true. What is my dream?
Its cliché, to study abroad because I really want to be on a flight frequently
but Allah is a better planner, I get to be on a flight often since my
foundation studies journey. I know my parents will never read this (cause I’ll
never share this to them obv) but maybe without them I will never be who I am
today (siapa jelah Syazril ni, terpaling macam somebody betull) and I will
never get the opportunity to be on a flight frequently and captured lots and lots
of on-flight pics. Cause you know, they paid for the ticket and so on (Songs playing
“he love me he gave all his money”, you know the rest). Okay till then for this
time blog, I still have a lot to share in this topic but no words can describe
the story that I want to tell to yalls.
Leave a comment or any question you want to ask
me, it may be the next write up topic, hiks.
